Spire is a decision science company that prepares leaders to operate in high‑trust, high‑stakes environments through scenario‑based cognitive training software and performance analytics. Our mission is to provide objective, data-driven tools that transform how institutions identify, develop, and assess emerging leaders, beginning with ROTC programs that use Mentor to train cadets for the decisions they will face as officers.

Spire’s headquarters is in Vermont, with engineering and product talent split between North Macedonia and New England. We are geographically positioned to network across three major U.S. metropolitan areas and dozens of partner nations globally, helping attract talent and build customer relationships.

Our roots in North Macedonia trace back to the founding of the U.S. National Guard’s State Partnership Program, which paired Vermont with North Macedonia in 1993 and has grown into a decades-long defense and training relationship.

The Spire Logo … What’s it Mean?

Historically, a spire has been a position of advantage that leaders use to see the world differently—from early astronomers climbing towers and mountains to place their telescopes, to military commanders seeking high ground to understand the battlefield. As a vantage point, a spire helps us see both ourselves and the challenges we face, giving perspective on where we stand in the world and where we need to go to gain an advantage through new knowledge or positioning.

The Spire logo nods to this idea: the sharp pinnacle is the spire itself, surrounded by the circle of the world we seek to better understand. The constellation is Ursa Minor, the Little Bear, with Polaris (the North Star) at the pinnacle, reminding us that climbing the spire is an arduous task but one that offers a clearer view of the world around us—and that we must stay focused on a guiding “true north” of values and ethics to help us navigate it.
